Description
These “short-separation” fibers have been used for many years on the TechEn CW fNIRS systems as short separation detector fibers. They are made of 200 µm core diameter multi-mode fiber with an SMA connector on the proximal end that connects to the detector on the fNIRS instrument and a custom metal ferrule on the distal end that connects into the fiber optic cap that holds the fiber on the head of the subject.
